The TechBro backlash;
Hey hey, we are the TechBros
Here they come, walking into DC, laying down their billions, willing to pay off any Trumper they meet. They are the TechBros, and they got something to say. They include Jeff Bezos, born again Gangsta Zuck, litigation Piñata Sam Altman of OpenAI, and the half of the Google Evil Twins, Sergey Brin, and they all have three things in common. None of them ever voted for the Bogeyman, they are all chipping in $1 million to fund his inauguration, and they are all acquiescing to their long-time nemesis, Elon Musk, the enshrined gatekeeper to get in on the billions the tech world will make reinventing and downsizing government for the good.
We are not that cynical about all this, because we are all about seeing the DOGE initiative leverage Web3 innovation to eliminate unnecessary regulation, lower deficits, curb inflation and create new jobs and wealth in the free market. There is plenty of irony here of course, including the fact that both Facebook and Google execs were, in our opinion, are criminally liable for election interference in 2020 to keep the Boogeyman out of office. While Zuck recently admitted and apologized for Facebook’s election antics and censorship, Google kept up their evil ways in 2024 by burying Joe Rogan’s interview with the Boogeyman and, we are certain, many other nefarious acts. But hey hey, they are the TechBros and there are billions to be made.
